Miêu tả:Which variety of English to teach and learn in the modern world is an embarrassing matter for English teachers and students. World Englishes is a new perspective for students who work for non-native speakers’ company to get a better mutual understanding. The purpose of this study was to investigate into attitudes of teachers and students of English towards teaching and learning World Englishes at Hong Duc University. The qualitative and quantitative approach are implemented to find out their attitudes towards those non-standard varieties of English and whether to teach or learn it in classroom or not. The result of this study helps learners of English have a deep understanding on not only Standard English and World Englishes but debates and discussion around it as well. This suggests perspectives of teaching World Englishes for teachers who want to improve their students’ English language proficiency after they graduate
