Dong Nai is located in the eastern part of South Viet Nam, east of Ho Chi Minh City. It is bordered by
Binh Phuoc in the north, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan in the east, Ba Ria-VungTau in the south, Binh Duong and

Dinh Quan Thong Nhat, Nhon Trach and Long Thanh. The Kinh people account for 82.8 percent of the
province’s population. The reminder is made up of the ethnic minority groups: the Tay, the Kho Mu, the Nung,
the Dao and the Ma.
