Introduction
The LoopStar 714 and LoopStar 718 are tailored to help service providers reach their off-net customers and reduce
service fees at the same time. The LoopStar 714 offers highly manageable 10/100 customer access and up to four
T1/E1s (eight T1/E1s for the LoopStar 718) for the network connection. These T1/E1s are bonded using the standard
Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP), offering up to 12 Mb/s (T1) or 16 Mb/s (E1) of service. Additional lines can
be added as necessary, and with a simple-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI), provisioning new circuits has never
been easier. And the LoopStar products come equipped with LoopStar 700 intelligent management, designed to
support remote service provisioning, verification, and troubleshooting. From RMON counters and Ethernet / WAN
loopbacks to a built-in Ethernet port Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) test, from complete Layer 2+ classification
and service definition to link quality monitoring and reporting, the LoopStar 714 and LoopStar 718 provide the
flexibility and scalability to deliver customer-specific solutions and support with pinpoint accuracy.

T1/E1 circuit emulation, intelligent management and a mix of connectivity choices, creating a multi-serv-
ice access platform remarkably versatile for its price point.
The LoopStar 711 comes equipped with two 100Base-FX ports, four 10/100Base-T ports and two
T1/E1/J1 ports for circuit emulation services.
The LoopStar 711 is uniquely designed to offer fiber extension transport, as well as the services that
require this transport. Usually deployed at the customer premise, this product can create a resilient infra-
structure ideally suited for a variety of applications.
