I. Objectives:
A. Topic and tasks: After finishing this lesson, sts are able to:
- know names of some countries around the world.
- distinguish the names of countries, nationalities, and languages.
- introduce and ask others about the names of countries, nationalities, and
languages.
B. Education: Sts should be proud of their country.
C. Skills: Develop speaking and listening skills.
II. Language content:
A. Vocabulary: interesting, wet, Tower, postcard
B. Structures: Review:
- Where is/ are + S + from? → S + am/ is/ are + from + teân nöôùc.
- Which language do/ does + S + speak? → S + speak(s) ngoân ngöõ.
III. Teaching aids and method:
- Teaching aids: book, chalk, board, a tape and a stereo.
- Method: Communicative approach.
IV. Procedures:
A. Warm up: Game: “Network” (3’ – 5’)
- Ask sts to work in groups, in 30 seconds, they must write on a small board the
name of the countries in the world they know as fast as possible.
- Sts display their answers.
- T gives remark and asks sts read all.

- Some sts write the answer on the
board.
- T gives feedback.
- T guides sts to do exercise 6.
- Sts practice asking and answering
the questions, then write.
