It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the weather was perfect . Hoa
was outside playing with her dog. Suddenly the dog began acting strangely . It kept running in
circles . Hoa ran home with her dog to tell her mother what the dog was doing. Hoa’s mother
said that she heard on the radio that there was a typhoon coming . Hoa’s mother gathered her
family and told them to find shelter in the house. All of a sudden the sky became very dark . The
storm came with strong winds and heavy rain . The family was scared. But soon the storm
finished and everyone was glad. What a clever dog ! It saved Hoa’s family.

on the night of the Moon Cake Festival. As the moon rises , tables are placed outside the house
