Ex: - If I have enough money, I’ll buy a motorbike.
- If it rains, we won’t go to the cinema.
TYPE 2
Không có thật hoặc
trái với sự thật ở HT
Past subjunctive
S + V

(be →were)
didn’t + Vo
S + would/ could/ might… + Vo …
Ex: - If I were you, I would study hard.
- If he had a lot of money, he would travel around the world.
TYPE 3

Past perfect

1. Type 1:Future wish (Ao ước ở tương lai)

S + wish(es) + S + would + Vo
2. Type 2 :Present wish (Ao ước ở hiện tại)
S + wish(es) + S + V2/ed (be  were)
didn’t + Vo
3. Type 3 :Past wish (Ao ước ở quá khứ)
S + wish(es) + S + had + V3/ed
