Description
The EQLX Two-Position Remote Chassis is installed at the customer premises for
termination of up to four protected or unprotected E1 circuits (or an optical E2). It
mounts horizontally in a 19" or 23" rack, occupying a single rack space. One EQLX
module is deployed for unprotected applications; two EQLX modules are used for 1+1
protection. Operating on -48 VDC the chassis is ideal for collocation or PCS/cellular
applications. The optional EAPU and ECPM modules provide remote alarming, perfor-
mance monitoring and local craft interface. RJ45 connectors or wire-wrap pins make
E1 connections simple.
