Bending test;
DIN 53152
PA 051. Purpose / Target:
The bending test serves the elasticity and the adhesive strength of coatings for the evaluation
during bending load.

2. Description of the procedure:
2.1) Testing sets
Bending thorns with different diameter with mounting plate

2.2) Execution
The coated sample sheet metals must be stored before the check at least 3 h. The sample sheet
metal is bent by hand within 1-2 s around the bending thorn with the required radius of 180°.
When bending the sheet metal must rest against the thorn!

2.3) Analysis
The bending points is examined with the eye on breaks and flakings.
