I.The aims :
The students do exercises in order to practice the structures which have been learnt , they will use them and apply to do exercises well .
II.Teaching aids : Textbook , sub- board , pictures .
III.Procedure :
A/Warm up :
- Ask Ss some questions such as :
+ What did you do yesterday ?
+ Did you watch TV last night ?
+ What did you do during last summer vacation ?
- Remark and lead in new lesson .
B.Consolidation and practice :
1) Past simple tense :
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures in the book and answer what they are doing .
- Call on some Ss to answer the questions in front of the class .
a)Watch TV . b) Eat at a restaurant .
c)Go to the movie theatre . d) Read books . e)Play soccer .
- Have Ss answer the questions , using the pictures .
- Make example :
S1: Did you do your homework last night ?
S2: No, I didn’t . I watched TV .
- Have Ss work in pairs asking and answering the questions .
- Call on some pairs to practice in front of the class .
- Correct and give the correct answers .
2)Indefinite quantifiers :
- Have Ss repeat the indefinite quantifiers and the use .
- Ask them to do exercise 2 .
• Write the correct expression .
- Ask Ss to write the correct expression , using the pictures .
- Call on some Ss to give the answers in front of the class .
- Correct and give the correct answers :
+ A little coffee . + A lot of salt .

- Ask Ss to write in the notebooks .
• Complete the dialogues :
- Have Ss look at the pictures and then complete the dialogues .
- Have Ss work in pairs .

A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read a text and understand the details,practice and express preferences with “ I don’t like...,either. I like ...,too. / Neither do I, So do I.
B. Teaching aids: - Pictures, posters
C. Procedures:
I. Warm up: Kim’s game:
- T asks Ss to look at the picture about some food and remember. After that they go to the board and write. ( Don’t look at the picture )
- T & Ss check and correct ( look at the picture again ).
Ex: carrot, tomato, potato, milk, beef, water, soda, noodles, rice, chicken, fish, banana, apple, peas, orange...
Act1: Pre - reading: * Pre - teach:
I. Newwords:
- spinach (n): rau chân vịt - (a) cucumber : dưa leo, dưa chuột.

* Open - prediction: - Yesterday, Hoa and her aunt went to the market, they bought some food. Before you read the dialogues, you guess and write the food Hoa and her aunt bought.
* Listening and checking: ( T shows the pictures about Hoa and her aunt at the stalls. T introduces the main of the dialogues: 3 dialogues.
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape, then check their predictions.
- Ss roleplay to read the dialogues again.
* Comprehension question: Lucky numbers.
1. What did Hoa and her aunt buy at the market ? 1. They bought beef, spinach, cucumbers and oranges.
2. Lucky number.
3. Does Hoa like pork ? How about her aunt? 3. No, she doesn’t. Her aunt doesn’t like pork, too.

Form: Too, So, either, neither
*Too, So có nghĩa “cũng vậy”, dung trong câu khẳng định.
+ Dùng ‘TOO’ đứng ở cuối câu, trước nó có dấu phẩy và không đảo ngữ
+ Dùng ‘ SO’ đứng ở đầu câu, có đảo ngữ.
EX: -I’m hungry. - She loves papaya.
She is, too. So do they.
*EITHER và NEITHER có nghĩa “cũng không”, dùng trong câu phủ định
+Neither= Not either(Khi dùng Neither thì đảo ngữ)
Ex: She doesn’t cook well.
Neither do I./ I don’t either.
* Practice: Picture drill.

S2: Writes the form of “Neither / Either” and gives example.

- T introduces the newwords by the hepl of realthings and mimes.
- T reads all the newwords, Ss listen.
- Ss read again.
* Practice the newwords: What and where.
* Ordering: Ask Ss to guess the content of the text and order the statements.
Act2: While - reading:
* Reading and checking:
- Ss read the text, then check their predictions.
- T reads once, Ss read again.
- Ss silent reading, answer the question
and write the menu: ( Ss practise in group).
- Ss compare with another group.
- Call one student to go to the board and writes it.
- T checks and corrects.
* Add the missing words: Ask Ss to read the text again, then add the missing words.
- T checks and corrects.
* Matching: Ask Ss to match the instructions to the pictures.
Act3: Post - reading:
- Ask Ss to write a short text about: “ What did you eat and drink yesterday ?”.
