Language is the carrier of culture and is inseparable from culture. It symbolizes culture. Therefore, the interrelationship between them is indispensable. The thesis is concerned with the contribution and incorporation of the teaching of culture into the foreign language classroom. More specifically, some consideration will be given to the what and the how of integration of cultural factors. The study will be divided into 3 parts; they are Introduction, Development and Conclusion. The research consists of two stages; the first stage the researcher provided theoretical background related to the relationship between cultural knowledge and ELT in general, and in speaking skills in particular and found out cultural factors affecting speaking skills in classrooms. These factors are from knowledge, attitudes and different codes among cultures. Based on the findings, some ways to bridge the cultural gaps during speaking practice have been suggested. It is hoped that this thesis will be of some Giúp for the teachers and students of foreign language during speaking activities in classrooms at Hanoi Agriculture vocational school. Furthermore, an attempt will be made to incorporate culture into the classroom by means of considering some techniques and methods currently used. The main premise of the paper is that effective communication is more than a matter of language proficiency and that, apart from enhancing and enriching communicative competence, cultural competence can also lead to empathy and respect toward different cultures as well as promote objectivity and cultural perspicacity
