and makes things easier but you can still do it even if no one knows who you are.
I also want this to be educational and help people so they can go off and recreate what I have done
with the same results if not better. So I wrote this making sure I didn’t skip any important details, I
wanted this to be a “tell all” type book with every detail and every step covered.
Lastly I wrote this for the person who wants to make a living online and wants to achieve their
dreams but is finding it difficult and getting discouraged and confused. I hope this book makes things
crystal clear for you and provides hope and inspiration as well as provide you with the tools and
resources you need to be a success. There is no limit to your possibilities, you deserve success. Chapter One
Product

When I first decided I wanted to do a big launch I knew that I need to have a special type of product.
The simple fact is that if your product sucks then all that is going to happen is that you are going to
get a lot of refunds and ultimately make little or no money at all.
So I knew that my product was a very important part to this process. I have been big fans of both
Frank Kern and Jeff Walker and studied their material over and over again. I decided that I would
model my product and my product launch on Frank’s Mass Control and Jeff’s Product Launch
Formula.
One thing I decided on early was the price point. Both Frank and Jeff’s products were priced at
$1997. So I decided I would price my product the same. Now this was a bit of a risk because no one
knew who I was and I didn’t have a strong reputation yet unlike Frank and Jeff who were very well
known and pretty much “famous” in the Internet Marketing world.

over 9 hours of content and took a little over 2 months to create.
Even though it was probably a little too big it was impressive. I was extremely confident that it was
worth the $1997 price tag and people would be satisfied with their purchase. I also had a powerful
bargaining tool on my hands. My course proved that I knew what I was talking about and that would
come in handy when trying to prove myself to potential JV partners.
How I actually created my product was fairly simple. I already knew a lot of information already but
the things I didn’t know I researched. I broke everything down in sections such as product creation
and list building. Then I would research everything I could about each topic and put together a little
file containing the best quality info. Then I would plan out each individual video by making
PowerPoint presentations and then simply record them using Camtasia.
So once I had finished my product it was time to start preparing the actual launch of the product.

Chapter Two
Preparing The Launch

I wanted to give myself plenty of time to attract JV partners. I wanted to dedicate the entire month
of July to finding JV partners and getting them on board. I also gave myself enough time to build
relationships and rapport so I could get my foot in the door.

This is Tristan Bull here. I would just like to invite you to be a partner for my upcoming launch of my
new product entitled Internet Marketing Uncut.
Having studied alot of your material in the past especially PRODUCT NAME it would be an absolute
pleasure working with you.
Internet Marketing Uncut is going to be sold for $1997 and I am offering you 50% commission on
every sale you make.
I can send you a review copy immediately just let me know where you would like me to send it.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
Tristan Bull

I would spend most days searching for new partners and emailing them trying to get them on board.
Another place I went was the Warrior Forum.
There are a lot of successful people at the Warrior Forum so I would search the threads and try and
scope out who was making money and who would be a good potential JV partner. The good thing
about forums is that when you send a PM you are more likely to get a reply because most PM’s are
from real people and are not spam. You are almost guaranteed that your PM will get read.
This was a huge advantage when getting in contact with some of the bigger names on the Warrior
Forum. Of course the bigger the name the more PM’s they get so it can be a bit difficult to stand out
but you have a very high chance of getting your PM read so just make sure your message is good.
So I would search both the Warrior Forum and numerous salespages every day and send out emails.
Those that replied I would send out a review copy and wait to hear back from them.
One of the most pleasing things was that I was getting great feedback from the people who I gave
review copies to. They watched the videos and loved the course so that was very pleasing. I was
confident that people would like it but you are always a little nervous when someone else sees your
product for the first time. So after the first handful of people who reviewed it were happy I was
confident I could take it to the big boys.
Chapter Three
JV Notify Pro

Mike Merz offers a service at JvNotifyPro.com where he can announce your launch on his forum to
the JVNP community and he can also personally send out JV invitations to some of the biggest
names in Internet Marketing.
He will do this for a flat fee or a percentage of sales made.
Once I found out about Mike I decided to contact him right away and see what his thoughts were
and if he would work with me.
Over a couple of email consultations we agreed to work together. The first step was to announce it
to his community via the JVNP forum. Now at this stage I hadn’t set up any affiliate program or
anything like that so I actually should of had that all organized before I even contacted Mike.
I also had to set up a special affiliate account for Mike so people who signed up on the forum signed
up under Mike.
I decided to go with 1shoppingcart.com for this. I had never used 1shoppingcart before so it took a
little time to work out how everything worked but their video tutorials are pretty good and it didn’t
take me to long to get a handle on it.
What I needed to do was write up a JV request that Mike would announce to the JVNP community
via the forum and his newsletter. You are basically competing with every other marketer out there
who is launching a product but you are competing for affiliates not sales.
The bigger the name you were the more affiliates you got because you were well known and
trusted. I remember that the guys from Day Job Killer had just announced their new product around
the same time I announced mine. So they got the majority of attention but it was ok because their
product was launching before mine was.
At this stage I had to make a few important decisions, firstly I needed to settle on a date to launch. I

This is a very important step and was crucial in getting my affiliates motivated.
During this time I had been going over Frank Kern’s Mass Control launch. Looking back at his blog
posts and videos. One thing I discovered was that he was running a JV competition for his Mass
Control launch.
A JV competition is where prizes are given to the affiliate or JV partner who accumulates the most
sales. They usually have a top 10 ranking system and there is a different prize for each position.
After doing some research I discovered Jeff Walker and Mike Filsaime were doing the same thing.
They would run JV competitions during their launches and offer prizes to the people who made the
most sales.
This was a great way to motivate affiliates and with the ranking system it really brings out their
competitive sides.
So I decided that I must run a JV competition.
The problem was I didn’t have as much money as those guys to afford all the cool prizes. Also they
were pretty much guaranteed to make a profit with their launches because of who they were and
the reputation and credibility they had.
I didn’t have the name or the credibility or the reputations these guys had so it was still a bit of a risk
for me to shell out all this money for prizes especially if the launch didn’t do so well.
So I found a simple solution.
In the terms of the JV competition I stated that you had to make at least 10 sales to qualify for a
prize.
This has me covered. At $1997 10 sales would be $19,997 which would be more than enough to
cover the prizes.
So I came up with some really cool prizes. Plasma TV’s and gaming consoles seemed to be the

reviews, I offered almost $1000 commissions for every sale affiliates made and I had really awesome
prizes up for grabs.
People wanted to promote my launch because they had a variety of different reasons to.
So I continued to search for JV partners on a daily basis as well as get new signups from Mike’s JVNP.
At this stage I had around 500 affiliates who had signed up to promote my launch. Chapter Four
Getting The Big Fish

In this section I want to talk about my experiences with some of the big names in the Internet
Marketing industry.
I had a few interesting experiences with a few different people. Unfortunately in the end I wasn’t
able to land a really BIG fish. I came close to getting a couple but couldn’t quite close the deal.
I am going to share these stories with you. But before I do I want to point out that I was still

He was very helpful and very easy to talk to. He gave me a few good pointers and some helpful
advice.
But he didn’t really give much away when it came to a partnership or directing me to the people
who would be interested in a partnership.
He declined a request to become a JV partner because he only wanted to promote Frank Kern’s stuff
because his list was really responsive to it. Which is completely understandable.
Of course I asked if he could get me in touch with Frank himself and of course he said no which again
is completely understandable, but I had to ask.
Jason is a nice guy and knows his stuff. One thing I found interesting was that he seemed very
protective of his relationships with some of the big name gurus. He didn’t want to do anything to
spoil or wreck it. Throughout our conversations he would often say that he has worked on building
those relationships for 3 years and doesn’t want to do anything to wreck that.
I asked him with his status and powerful relationships why he hasn’t came out with his own major
product launch yet as he would have a lot of powerful people support it and promote for him. He
told me he was waiting for the perfect moment and that throughout the entire time he has never
asked for a promotion or mail out from his guru buddies.
I found this really interesting. I sort of got the impression that Jason didn’t realize how much of a
“big name” he really was and how liked and respected he was by the general Internet Marketing
community.
Jason is known for being one of the most coolest dudes around that provides honest straight up high
quality products.
I am sure that if he were to do a big launch that everyone would support him and his guru buddies
would promote for him. No doubt he would make an absolute killing.
Of course that is just my opinion and Jason knows exactly what he is doing. I just found it very
interesting that he has established a big name for himself but he isn’t doing massive launches like
the other Internet guru’s.
I tried very hard to get Jason on board but he wouldn’t budge. I even offered him a deal where if he
would recommend me to some of his more powerful friends for every sale they generated he would
get a cut.
Finally I tried to get him to do a testimonial or an endorsement but still no luck. The only way that

would but as time passed I didn’t hear anything.
Then Mike emailed showing me an announcement from Joel saying that he was going to be releasing
his new book on January 2
nd
.
So I don’t think Mike actually got in contact with Joel about my launch and perhaps if he had earlier
on we might of been able to do something. But it is no one’s fault, just confusion and
miscommunication.
Plus I should of just paid the $500 review fee in the first place to guarantee that Joel would of seen
my product.
Another interesting story I have is about Mark Joyner. At the time I believed I was almost certain to
do a JV with Mark but unfortunately it didn’t happen.
Again I got in contact with one of his staff members and I was directed to the person who handles JV
partnerships. So after some back and forth with him I sent my product for him to review.
He did get back to me and he said that he really like the product. He is just going through it again
and will be in touch soon.
After a couple of weeks of not hearing back I emailed him and he got back to me saying that he was
leaving Mark Joyner’s company and he has forwarded my request to his replacement.
I then tried to follow up with his replacement but I never got a reply.
I was very close a lot of the times but it didn’t quite get there which was very frustrating.

Then I got in contact with Willie Crawford. Willie Crawford is very well known at the Warrior Forum
and is an exceptional Internet Marketer.
I had a weird and interesting experience with Willie that is still a little hard to explain.
I sent him an email asking if he was interested in promoting my launch and he replied saying that he
was and he also added that he can recruit thousands of affiliates for me as well as he also does a JV
brokering service.
So of course I said that would be great. So I set him up with all the relevant links and everything and
then the next day he referred one person and I have not heard from him since.
I really don’t know what happened, it was very strange. I sent him numerous emails and contacted

Chapter Five
The Pre-Launch Phase

It was time to start the pre-launch phase. I started this approximately 3 weeks prior to launch. I
would like to test out doing a smaller pre-launch phase starting closer to the actual launch date but I
wanted to give it plenty of time since it was a high ticket item. So I really wanted to generate that
buzz and anticipation.
How the pre-launch phase works is that you start to give away free information leading up to the
launch date. This is to get people interested in what you have to offer and build excitement as the
launch date approaches.
You also use this time to build an interested list and you are emailing your list throughout this entire
process.
I recorded 6 videos that I would give away for free as part of the pre-launch process. It is important
that your free material is good because you want people to get interested and want more. If your
free material is useless then no one is going to care.
So it’s important that your free material actually contains helpful useful content that people can use.
That way they will look out for your next free video or report and they will also think to themselves
Man this stuff is really good and he is giving it away for free, just image what his paid stuff is going
to be like!
I released my first two videos at the same time about 3 weeks from the actual launch date. How it

website then flipping that website for a massive profit.
That is actually a very effective method of making a lot of money very quickly but one of the biggest
problems people face is they don’t know how to create sites that generate lots of traffic and
revenue. Internet Marketing Uncut solves that problem so it was a perfect bonus.
Now with this bonus I used a tactic called scarcity.
One of the free videos focused on this one bonus, listing all the benefits and using big numbers to
get people excited. Then I announced that this amazing bonus was only going to be available within
the first 24 hours of the launch.
So people had to buy on the first day if they wanted access to the special $90,000 a month bonus.
In that video I also announced the price. Now since it was a high ticket item it can be a bit tricky
announcing the price without scaring people off.
So I used a tactic I learned from Jeff Walker. I stacked a heap of bigger numbers above the actual
price.
Let me explain
In the video I talk about the potential and value of the course. I talk about making $1000’s a month
plus the $90,000 a month bonus and then I reveal the price.
So it looks like this:
$90,0000
$20,000
$1997

It makes the price look relatively small. So that was a nice and subtle way to introduce the high price.

Something that I done during the pre-launch phase that I should of done more of and I highly
suggest you do is an interview.
Now I only done one but I really should of done as many as possible. Interviews are great because
you have the opportunity to build rapport with the listener and let them get to know you a bit.
It builds trust and credibility and puts a human element to the whole launch process. It just makes
people feel more comfortable with you and at ease.
I done an interview with a guy named Jonny Andrews who is a great guy and was a lot of fun. We

always have to keep repeating your launch date to both lists so they don’t forget it.
You are emailing your affiliates reminding them to mail out to their lists and keep promoting. One
important thing you must do is provide email copy for them to simply copy and paste.
So you need to write up promo emails for your affiliates to use, this makes it super easy for them to
promote. If all they need to do is copy and paste an email then they will most likely do it. As most
people are lazy and they can’t be bothered thinking up different email promos so if you write them
for them then it makes it a lot easier and they are more likely to promote for you.
When you are emailing the potential customers you are just keeping them updated on what is going
on and making sure they are aware of the launch date.
Also one thing I forgot to mention is that this was only a 7 day launch. So you need to stress to your
list that the product is only going to be available for 7 days then it will be taken off the market.
During the last week of the pre-launch I emailed my list 3 times telling them about the last two
videos and the interview.
I emailed twice over the weekend before the Monday launch just reminding them that the launch
was on at 12 noon and that the $90k a month bonus was only available for the first 24 hours. Chapter Six

Chapter Seven
The Launch

Launch day was an amazing day.
At this point I couldn’t really do anything else but sit back and let it happen. All the work had already
been done. The anticipation, the hype, the buzz had all been building to this point.
All the testing had been done, the sales page was written the payment links had been tested and I
was ready to go live as soon as the clock hit 12 NOON.
The official launch was 12 Noon Monday 1
st
of September, USA time. This was actually 2AM Tuesday
2nd of September for me. But I didn’t mind, it was worth staying up for.
I sent an email out with one hour to go simply saying there is one hour until we launch and then I
sent another email out about 5 mins after we launched saying that we were now live.
I stayed up for a couple of hours and after the sales started to roll in and everything was working
without a hitch I went to bed.
In the first day I made a little over 150 sales. Towards the end of the day I sent out an email
reminding people that the 90k a month bonus was only available for the first 24 hours and was going
to be removed from the page.
All was well, I was extremely happy. I didn’t care if I didn’t sell another copy all week as far as I was
concerned it was a success.
A couple of days before I launched it was pointed to me that the 1
st
of September was Labour Day in
America so it was a public holiday. It was too late to change the launch date but I was extremely
nervous that no one would purchase because no one would be in front of their computers.
Luckily that wasn’t the case and people still ordered but to be honest I thought that might have been
a massive disaster.
But it did provide a good reason for me and my affiliates to mail out again. I sent out a message
along the lines of Whoops I screwed up, being in Australia I didn’t know about the public holiday in

amount.
At the end of it all I came away with 302 sales of Internet Marketing Uncut which earned me
$603,094.00

Conclusion
So that is my story. That is what I done and how I done it. I hope you have enjoyed it and been able
to take something from it.
It can seem like a big daunting stressful task but it is well worth it in the end. I hope I have been able
to open some eyes and inspire people to do the same.
Making money online is an incredibly opportunity that we are lucky enough to enjoy. We are in a
rare time in history where such things as making an income from home are a reality and I believe we
should take full advantage of this while we can.
The biggest challenge is actually starting. Don’t let fair of failure stop you. Also don’t over think
things and plan things too much. There are a million things I could of done better and I am sure after
reading this you know what they are but it didn’t stop me and I still was successful.
You learn as you go along, I had no idea about doing a JV competition but I learned as I was doing it.
You don’t need to have the whole step by step process in front of you before you begin. Just begin,
the minor details will work themselves out.
There is plenty of money to be made on the Internet but you have to go out and get it. Hopefully I
have shown you at least one way of doing it and given you the motivation you needed.
