symptoms and how to prevent the cold .

- Do exercise B 2+3+4( page 72+73 ) in the work book .
3. New lesson.
A. Warm up.
- Ask Ss to play “Rub out and remember” with the words about
the diseases.
- Headache. - Flu - Toothache -
Stomachache -Cold

B. Pre- reading.
- Ask Ss to give the most common disease Hang the picture
and ask the question.
- What are the symptoms of the common cold ?
- Give the meaning of the words symptom
Symptom: triệu chứng.
- Ask Ss to give the answer in Viet namese if nesessary.
sổ mũi : a running nose. sốt nhẹ: a slight
fever
ho : coughing hắt hơi: sneezing .

4. Consolidation
- Note the main content of the reading: the symptom, the cures,
the way to prevent the cold.
5. Home work .
- Read the reading and say somethings about the common
cold.
- Prepare the new lesson.
