Form:
S + V + (O) + (NOT) + To Infinitive
V :
- tell (told) : bảo - ask : yêu cầu - want : muốn - promise : hứa - advise : khuyên
- offer : đề nghị - warn : cảnh báo - remind : nhắc nhở - encourage : khuyến khích
- invite : mời - agree : đồng ý - persuade : thuyết phục
EX: “ Don’t stay up late,” the doctor said to him
 The doctor advised him not to stay up late
EX: “ I’ll give you a picture” the teacher said
 The teacher promised to give us a picture
Note:
Khi chuyển đổi lời dẫn trực tiếp sang lời dẫn gián tiếp thì phải thay đổi ngôi (đại từ làm tân ngữ), trạng
ngữ chỉ thời gian và nơi chốn cho phù hợp.

Grammar : Reported speech with gerund VING
Ex1: “ Please, give me your pen, Lan. Thank you!” the teacher said.
The teacher thanked Lan for giving him her pen .
Ex2: “ Let’s begin new lesson ” the teacher said
 The teacher suggested beginning new lesson.

I, me, my sẽ phụ thuộc vào chủ từ
You, your sẽ phụ thuộc vào túc từ
Khi trong câu gặp những từ
Warn …………against
Prevent…………….from
Stop không được ghi NOT
Avoid
Deny (denied)
CONDITIONAL SENTENCES : Câu điều kiện
Loại 1 : If + S + V0/ es/s , S + Will / Can / Shall / May + V
(Hiện tại đơn)
Loại 2 : If + S + V2 /ed , S + Would / Could / Should / Might + V
(Qúa khứ don)
Loại 3 : If + S + Had + V3 /ed , S + Would / Could / Should / Might + HAVE + V3/ed
(Qúa khứ hoàn thành)
Chuyển sang câu tường thuật thì :
-Điều kiện loại 1 thành loại 2
-Điều kiện loại 2,3 không thay đổi
Chú Ý
Sau mạo từ A,AN, THE không được lấy động từ (V)
Sau Can, could , should, will , would , may , might, shall, let’s ….là động từ (V)
