STUDIES ON FABRICATION AND PHOTOVOLTAIC CHARATERIZE OF GZO/P-Si BY
SPUTERING MAGNETRON DC
Abstract
Ga-doped ZnO (GZO) transparent conductive oxide films on p-Si wafers were prepared by DC
magnetron sputtering. The effect of varied coating conditions (power, sputtering pressure, substrate-to-target
distance and deposition time) on microstructure, optical and electrical properties of the films was investigated by
X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UVvisible spectrophotometer and four point
probe. GZO films showed the lowest electrical resistivity, at 2.10

electrode surface shape, the IV characteristic, illuminance, luminous intensity, emission wavelength, color,
temperature influence and humidity in the IV characteristic. The survey was conducted and measured on the
specialized equipment of the laboratories of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park, University of Science and Institute of
Vietnam measurement. With the measuring data of LEDs, we can evaluate the accuracy between the
specifications of the semicondutor company to the real measuring data. Thereby, we propose a LED process
measurement and standards to check LEDs for Vietnam market. We hope these results will be useful for the
fabrication of LED projects in Vietnam next time.

NUCLEAR WASTE DRUM ASSAY USING SEGMENTED GAMMA SCANNING AND
GAMMA EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY TECHNIQUES
Abstract
In this study, we assay a waste drum using segmented gamma scanning and gamma emission
tomography to determine the radioactive distribution in the drum. Point sources are placed inside a 210 litre
waste drum with a diameter of 58 cm and a length of 86 cm. Gamma emitted from the drum are detected using a
3-inch NaI(Tl) detector. First, we assay the waste drum using the segmented gamma scanning technique to find
the source positions in the vertical direction. Then, we reconstruct gamma emission tomography images for the
horizonal slices where the sources are found. The images are reconstructed using filtered backprojection method
and smoothed using intensity transformation and linear interpolation. Besides, the Point Spread Function (PSF)
of the imaging system is measured and applied to deconvolute detector effects. Co-60 isotopes are found in
agreement with the experimental arrangement with an uncertainty of 6%. Assaying a waste drum using both
segmented gamma scanning and gamma emission tomography techniques saves time while still provides
information about the radioactive sources in details.

Abstract
In this study, TiO

nanotubes have been fabrication by using the electrochemically deposited ZnO
nanorod as a template in the spin-coating procedure of Ti precursor. The length and diameter of TiO
2
nanotubes
can be controlled by changing the initial ZnO nanorod template. The optical, structural properties of TiO
2
nanotubes were characterized by the UV - Vis, PL, XRD and SEM, respectively. The successful fabrication and
investigation of properties of TiO
2
nanotubes is a step forward to fabricate dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC). ___________________________________

THE ASSISTANT ROBOTIC LEGS SYSTEM
Abstract
Nowadays, the robotic exoskeletons are widely used in lots of branches such as military, biomedical,
etc. Hence, the researching and manufacturing these exoskeleton suits are an urgent task. And to keep pace with
the new technology, in this project, we designed and manufacture the Legs Assistant Robotic System, which help
the people with disable legs can escape the sitting in the wheel chairs and can walk like the normal person.

Abstract
In this study, characteristics of ZnO/TiO

heterojunction fabricated by DC magnetron sputtering and
chemical corrosion method are reported. The crystal structure and morphology of ZnO/TiO
2
heterojunction are
characterized by XRD, SEM, AFM. The photocatalyst property of them are tested by the decomposition of
methylene blue solution under ultraviolet irradiation and the luminescence of terephthalic acid solution after
photocatalyst process. The results show that the photocatalyst property of ZnO/TiO

is enhancement in
comparison with the case ZnO/TiO

DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF PCI EXPRESS PHYSICAL LAYER
Abstract
This paper presents a detailed analysis, design and simulation of PCI Express Physical Layer. The
Physical Layer isolates the Transaction and Data Link Layers from the signaling technology used for Link data
interchange. The Physical Layer is divided into the logical and electrical subblocks. The paper designed Physical
Layer in the system level with top-down design method and wrote the Verilog HDL codes to implement Physical
Layer. Wrote testbench to verify the correctness of the design module for function simulation. The simulation

scattering time ratio on the carrier density and quantum well width for different values of the impurity position

We also study the correlation and multiple scattering effects on the total mobility and the critical density for a

A COMPARISON OF INTENSITY MODULATED PHOTON THERAPY AND INTENSITY
MODULATED PROTON THERAPY PLANS FOR PROSTATE CANCER
Abstract
Nowadays, traditional radiation therapy x-rays is still the most common type of radiation in curing
cancer. However, the persisting problem is that significant dose delivered to normal tissue because of the
characteristics of interaction of photons with matter even with the most advanced delivery technique. Proton
therapy is not only the technique producing better conformity to target but also better sparing to organs at risk. In
this work, intensity modulated proton therapy (IMPT) and intensity modulated photon therapy (IMRT) plans are
generated for a prostate patient. The evaluation and comparison of the two treatment plans were performed in
term of physical quantity based on Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) for both target and organs at risk. The results
The upper atmosphere (upper troposphere and lower stratosphere; UT/LS) over Vietnam is under the
influence of the outflow from the western tropical Pacific in winter. The water mixing ratios observed over
Hanoi on the isentropes between 360 K and 380 K are very low but slightly higher than those over upstream
Indonesia. However, the situation will not be the same in summer. Ogino et al. (2013) investigated the seasonal
variation of ozone mixing ratio by using ozonesonde data over Hanoi and found that the UT/LS ozone shows a
minimum in winter and a maximum in spring to summer. They interpreted this annual cycle as the reflection of
the seasonal change in horizontal transport, that is, the inflow of low-ozone air masses from equatorial region in
winter and that of high-ozone air originated from Tibetan High in summer. Vietnam will, therefore, provide an
ideal platform for observations on the interaction between the equatorial region and mid-latitudes. The
observations over Ho Chi Minh will also provide additional information on the latitudinal structure in the
subtropical upper atmosphere.

Statistic of computed wave characteristics from 1987 to 2011shows that wave regime in the offshore region
