Tóm tắt thì quá khứ đơn (Simple past):
- Sự thành lập: Khẳng định : S + V-ed/V2 + O (S + was/were + O)
Chủ ngữ số nhiều và I dùng were số ít dùng was.
Phủ định : S + not + V-ed/V2 + O (S+ not was/were + O)
Nghi vấn : Did + S + V? ( was/were + S ?
- Cách dùng chính : thì quá khứ đơn được dùng đối với một hành động được hoàn tất trong thời
gian quá khứ thường đi kèm các trạng từ như : yesterday, before, ago, last week/month/year, in
the past, in + năm,
Chia động từ trong ngoặc ở thì quá khứ đơn:
