Lesson 1: Reading
I/ Objectives: After finishing the lesson, sts can predict future in some aspects as family, house,
holiday, environment, health services and education.

III/ Teaching Aids: Book, pictures of future life, poster.
IV/ Lexical Items: cohabit, Embryo Bank, sperm, egg cell, deposit, environment…

I/ Warm-up ( 4 minutes)
Teacher give sts some pictures of future
life then asks sts to guess how people
will live, study, work………
II/ Pre- reading ( 6 minutes)
Teacher asks sts to look at the pictures
and guess about the future classrooms.
Teacher can explain more about
teleconferencing and electronic
classroom.
Teacher asks sts to work in pairs to
match the pictures in textbook with the
headline below.
After that teacher asks sts to choose the
kind of classroom which they like and
tell the reason.
III/ While- reading (25 minutes)
A/ Teacher introduces the theme of the
reading (some prediction of future life)
then asks sts to read and match the
paragraphs with the headings.
B/ Teacher asks sts to find the words in

necessary.
IV/ Post- reading ( 8 minutes)
Teacher guides sts to give their opinion
on the kinds of the school mentioned in
the text
