1. The position of adverbs:

 Adverbs of place stand before By + Agent.
• Ex: This report will be read by Dr.Blake at 2pm.
 Adverbs of time stand after By + Agent.
• Ex: They have been badly treated by the boss.
 Adverb of manner usually stand between be and past
participle.
