Under it we understand the co-ordinating / Matches of a colour, to a surface, a gloss
degree, etc.. - It is therefore no development in the sense of a new development and
is therefore classiefied as short term. Due to the secured starting point the job can be
done without the verification and validating. Entire handling and documentation is
made through the laboratory order and the laboratory General New Development

Creation of a project job
Starting point for all development activities, which we undertake, is the complete and
accurate entry of the request to the desired product in the project job. The project job
must contain the trip, the project responsible person and the type of the report putting
(discussion, in writing...) of the request apart from a specification to the product also.
The job is to be approved from the R&D line to. Possible smaller projects are defined
and coordinated by the project manager within own responsibility.

Development activity
Appropriate recordings (e.g. laboratory journal, sheet metals...) are to be led over
the progress of the development. The report should be executed according to the
development project job and accordingly be documented. In the course of the entire
documentation it is to be made certain that this is archived chronologically and
collected. For long-term developments the reports can be summarized also in a
quarter report with smaller projects. Transition into production
The transition is executed in co-operation with development and production. It serves
the purpose to determine, whether the planned product can be manufactured,
checked, packed and supplied with the intended prescription in agreement with the
determined quality and cost targets. For this production attempt a prescription must
be present in accordance with S 07. Validating in co-operation with the customer
After successful pilot lot attempt in production the product must additionally be
checked again for its conformity (request from product requirement specifications,


General remarks
Possible samples which were transferred by the customer as colour/effect collecting
mains and which are to be reclaimed by the customer, must be treated carefully and
have to be sent by post office or messenger service to the customer immediately
after termination of the job.
