I. The present simple tense: Thì hiện tại đơn
1. To be: (am / is / are) Động từ to be
a) Affirmative: Khẳng định
S + am / is / are + …………
Ex: We are students.
b) Negative: Phủ định
S + am / is / are + not + …………
Ex: My mother is not / isn’t a farmer.
c) Interrogative: Nghi vấn
Am / Is / Are + S + ……………….?
Ex: Is your brother a worker? → Yes, he is / No, he isn’t.
2. Ordinary verbs: Động từ thường
a) Affirmative: Khẳng định
I / We / You / They / Ba and Nam V
He / She / It / Ba V( s / es )
Ex: I go to school every day.
She goes to school every day.
b) Negative: Phủ định
I / We / you / they / Ba and Nam do not / don’t
V(o chiA)
He / She / It / Ba does not / doesn’t
Ex: I don’t go to school on Sundays.
She doesn’t go to school on Sundays.
c) Interrogative: Nghi vấn
Do we / you / they /

V (bare infinitive) ?

Ex 1: Do you play volleyball?

1. Form:
a) Affirmative: Khẳng định
S + be going to + V (o chia )
Ex: I’m going to Hue tomorrow.
b) Negative: Phủ định
S + be not going to + V (o chia)
Ex: Nam is not going to HCM.
c) Interrogative: Nghi vấn
Be going to + S + V (o chia)…?
Ex: Are they going to the movies with us next Sunday?
2. Use: Diễn tả môt dự định sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai gần.
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Trong câu thường có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian như:
- tonight, tomorrow, next week / month / year, ….
- on Saturday morning
- This afternoon, this evening, this weekend….
IV. Động từ khuyết thiếu
S + can/ must/ should + V(o chia) + O
V. Question words: Where / Which / What / When / Who / How
What: gì, cái gì
Where: ở đâu
When: khi nào
Who: ai
Which: nào, cái nào
Which language: ngôn ngữ nào
Which grade: khối mấy
Which class: lớp mấy
Why: tại sao - Because: Bởi vì
What time: mấy giờ
How: - như thế nào,- có khỏe
không

Ex: Would you like some milk? / Would you like to drink milk?
IV.Cách dùng “ a/ an/ some/any”
* “a” dùng trước danh từ đếm được số ít, bắt đầu bằng một phụ âm Ex:- There is a pen.
* “an” dùng trươc danh từ đếm được số ít, bắt đầu bằng một nguyên âm (u,e,o,a, i ). - Ex: There
is an eraser.
* “some” dùng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều và danh từ không đếm đựợc, trong câu khẳng
định hoặc lời mời lịch sự với " Would you like ?
Ex:- There are some apples Would you like some apples?
* “ any” dùng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều và danh từ không đếm đựợc, trong câu phủ định
và nghi vấn . - There aren’t any oranges. - Are there any oranges?
