Hello, my name is……….I am 14 years old. I am a student in Thanh Loi
secondary school. In my opinion, there are a lot of festivals in Viet Nam such as:
Rice –cooking festival, Tet holiday, Christmas’s day, Teacher’s day, Mid- Fall
Festival, Children’s day…..so on. Among of them, I like Tet holiday best because of
several reasons.
Fisrtly, Tet is the most important celebration for Vietnamese people. It occurs in late
January or early February. It usually lasts for a week. I can clean or decorate my
house.
Secondly, I can wear new clothes and receive lucky money from my grandparents and
my relatives.
Finally, I will enjoy many special food such as: sticky rice cakes, spring rolls, cakes,
sweets, watermelons…so on.
In short, Tet is a wonderful festival. I love it very much.
