2. The present progressive tense (Thì Hiện tại tiếp diễn)
(+) S + am / is / are + V – ing …

(?) Am / Is / Are + S + V – ing …?.
• Thường có các trạng từ ở cuối câu: Now, at present, at the moment, right now, at this time …và
Look !, Listen !, Be careful!, Be quite!, …..ở đầu câu.
3. The simple future tense (Thì tương lai đơn)
(+) S + will / shall + V (bare – inf) …
(-) S + won’t / shan’t + V (bare – inf) …
(?) Will / Shall + S + V (bare – inf)…?.
Yes , S + will / shall. No, S + won’t / shan’t.
• Thường có các trạng từ: soon, tomorrow, tonight, next week / month / year … one day, …
4. To be going to

1. Comparative of adjectives (so sánh của tính từ).
a. Comparative: (so sánh hơn)
• Short adjs: Adj.- er + than
• Long adjs: More + adj. + than
b. Superlatives: (so sánh nhất )

2. Exclamatory sentence (câu cảm thán)

8. Hỏi và trả lời về thời gian:
* Hỏi giờ: What time is it ? = What 's the time ?.
• Giờ đúng: It's + giờ + o'lock.

9. Hỏi và trả lời về số lượng:

10. Hỏi và trả lời về đồ vật, nghề nghìệp, môn học, trò chơi:

11. Hỏi và trả lời về giá cả:

12. Hỏi về thời gian:
When + do / does + S + Vnt...?

13. Trạng từ tần suất:
always , usually , often , sometimes , never... đứng trước động từ thương , đứng sau động từ tobe
14. Gợi ý, lời đề nghị lịch sự, lời mời:
- Would you like + to – inf / Noun...? – Yes, I’d love to
- What about / How about + V – ing...? = Why don't we +V-inf...?

19. Danh từ ghép (Coumpound nouns):
Number + sing. N = Compound adjective.
Ex: A summer vacation lasts 3 months -> a 3 – month summer vacation.
20. Comparison of Nouns (so sánh của danh từ)
• So sánh nhiều hơn của danh từ đếm được: S1+ V(s/es) + more + Ns + than + S2
• So sánh nhiều hơn của danh từ không đếm được: S +V(s/es) + more + uncount.N+ than+S2
• So sánh ít hơn của danh từ đếm được:S + V(s/es) + fewer + N s + than + S2
• So sánh ít hơn của danh từ không đếm được: S + V(s/es) + less + N + than + S2.
Ex: He works 72 hours a week. His wife works 56 hours a week.
He works more hours than his wife.
His wife works fewer hours than him.
Ex: I drink two cups of tea. Lan drinks three cups of tea a day.
