Last week, my friend and I spent a weekend in the country side. We visited my
uncle’s farm. I had been to the farm several times before, but this was the first time
for my friend. Naturally, it was a great event for him. Finally, the days came. . It was
a fine morning. We got up very early because we wanted to leave home after
breakfast. We made the journey by bus. We reach my uncle’s farm at noon. After
lunch we spent many hours walking round the village to see the sights and walking
through the wood to look for bird’s nests.
In the next morning, we have big breakfast with plenty of farm products. After
breakfast, my uncle took us to a small lake not far from home. There, we fished and
had a nice lunch with the fish we caught.
The weekend was short; however, we enjoyed it very much. The country air
was fresh and pure. We felt healthy and strong when we came back to the city for our
school work.
