Understanding the important role that online learning has played and the new perspective it has brought into teaching and learning foreign languages, Hanoi University of Industry has recently chosen online learning as an integrated part in the blended learning course for teaching and learning English to non-major students. This study, therefore, was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Online Learning Program as part of the course to second-year non-major students at the university. The study data were collected by means of questionnaire for students, interview with teachers, pre-test and post-test accompanied with students’ online learning reports. The results indicated that the program proved to be effective to students. The majority of them found it good and satisfied with it. Some difficulties were also revealed in the results of the study and therefore some suggestions were provided by both students and teachers to maximize the effectiveness of the program
