Teacher uses a christmas card and asks students some questions about picture .
Students listen and answer them .
T : What is this ?
Ss : ( a chritmas card )
T : When do you usually get it ?
Ss : ( on Christmas day )
T : What can you see and listen on Christmas day ?
Ss : (I can see the Christmas tree , the Christmas card , Santa Claus and I can
listen Christmas carols )
* Now let’s begin the new lesson , the content of the text talks about Christmas .

- Give students three minutes to match the words in column A with the meaning
part : Answer the questions .
* Comprehension questions :
Before answering the questions , Teacher asks Ss to read the text again and find
the answers . Teacher gives Ss 5 minutes to complete them .
- Have a game “ Lucky Numbers ”
- Divide the class into two teams .
- Write 8 numbers on the board from 1 to 8
- Tell Ss each number is for a question but there are 3 lucky numbers . if Ss
choose a lucky number , they don’t have to answer it but they get 2 points and

they can get another number . if they choose a question , they have to answer it
if they answer right , they also get 2 points . if which team has more point is
winner .
