PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE (THÌ HIỆN TẠI TIẾP DIỄN)
I/ Use (Cách dùng)
Present Continuous Tense được dùng để diễn tả:
1. Một hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói.
EX: I am reading an English book now.
2. Thường dùng sau câu mệnh lệnh
EX: Look! The bus is coming.
3. Một kế hoạch xảy ra trong tương (có trạng từ chỉ tương lai).
EX: I am going to meet him tomorrow.
She is leaving London tonight.
II/ Form (cấu tạo)
1. Affirmative (Khẳng định)

EX: Mr. Minh is working at the moment.
2. Negative (Phủ định)
EX: Mr. Minh isn’t working at the moment.
3. Question (Nghi vấn)
EX : Is Mr. Minh working at the moment ? – Yes, he is/ No, he isn’t.
• Quy tắc thêm ‘‘ING’’
- Động từ có E câm ở cuối, ta bỏ E đi rồi mới thêm ING:
EX : live - living write - writing
- Động từ ở cuối có phụ âm, trước nó là một nguyên âm phải gấp đôi phụ âm rồi thêm ING:
EX : cut - cutting run - running
- Nếu động từ có IE ở cuối, ta đổi IE thành Y rồi mới thêm ING
tie - tying die - dying lie - lying
- Còn lại thêm ING bình thường.
EX: play - playing study - studying learn – learning

hear, see, smell, wish, understand, hate, love, like, want, sound, have, need, appear, seem, taste, own,
