Kể từ khi Nghị định Kyoto bắt đầu có hiệu lực, thị trường mua bán khí thải các
bon lớn mạnh hơn tất cả các dự đoán. Thị trường toàn cầu hàng năm ước tính
khoảng 30 tỉ Đô la và số lượng các dự án Cơ chế Phát triển Sạch được đăng ký
hiện nay là hơn 850 dự án. Hiện nay thị trường này bị chi phố chủ yếu bởi nhu
cầu của Cơ chế Mua bán Giảm Phát thải của Liên minh Châu Âu (EUETS) từ
năm 2005, và vì các điều khoản của Giai đoạn 2 - Kế hoạch Phân chia Giảm
Phát thải Quốc gia còn chặt chẽ hơn Giai đoạn 1 nên ai cũng biết rằng thị
trường này sẽ còn tiếp tục phát triển.
Nhu cầu này từ các thành viên tham gia vào EUETS là động lực chính thúc đẩy
số lượng các dự án Cơ chế Phát triển Sạch (CDM). Chúng tôi tin tưởng rằng các
công ty tham gia đoàn doanh nghiệp đã và đang tham gia vào các dự án CDM
trong các ngành công nghiệp, từ các dự án năng lượng tái tạo nhỏ cho đến các
dự án nhằm giảm khối lượng lớn phát thải khí các bon, và rất mong muốn thiết
lập quan hệ hợp tác lâu dài với các công ty đang phát triển các dự án CDM của
Việt Nam.

Simon is Business Communications Advisor for the Climate Change Projects
Office team, providing advice on the CDM process and information to businesses
on the services and activities offered by CCPO.
Simon’s role includes:

Responsibility for the organisation of overseas trade promotion missions
and CCPO’s presence at international exhibitions and events

Management, development and promotion of the CCPO website.

Production and management of CCPO business guides and awareness
raising literature.

Promoting the CCPO and the advice and services it offers to UK
business
Simon has worked in a number of areas of the UK Civil Service, including
work on the promotion of small businesses, and posts in BERR’s Sustainable
Development Team, and the joint BERR/Defra Environmental Industries
Unit, where he worked on the promotion of the UK Environmental Goods and
Services sector.

Objectives for the Mission
CRM’s objectives are to win contracts to purchase CERs and assist organisations
through the whole of the CDM project cycle in order for them to obtain CDM
funding for their projects.
Carbon Resource Management
CRM comprises a team of experienced specialists focusing on the Clean
Development Mechanism. The company has a highly respected team. The
company is presently working on a large number of projects in Asia involving a
wide range of energy technologies, including wind, coal mine methane, hydro
and biomass. The team has a strong track record of taking projects through the
whole CDM project cycle.
