EIA-530 Digital Patching
Control Platform
ADC’s PatchMate EIA-530 digital patching modules monitor, access, test, and reconfigure multi-
conductor digital interfaces. Failed circuits can be restored and communication paths rerouted—
independently and immediately. The platform enables higher data rates, superior electrical
performance, and quality, reliable service.
Standard modules contain three front-panel jacks for easy access to the circuit and two rear
connectors for easy integration to the data network. A patch cord inserts into the monitor jack to
provide nonintrusive monitoring or into appropriate connection points for replacement of faulty
equipment. Circuits can be restored with minimum time and effort by splitting and testing them
toward either computer or line equipment.
