I.Định nghĩa và phân loại danh từ
Trong tiếng Anh danh từ gọi là Noun.
Danh từ là từ để gọi tên một người, một vật, một sự việc, một tình trạng hay một cảm
xúc.
Số nhiều của danh từ
Một được xem là số ít (singular). Từ hai trở lên được xem là số nhiều (plural). Danh từ
thay đổi theo số ít và số nhiều
1.Số nhiều của danh từ.
a-Qui tắc chung: thêm “S” vào sau danh từ số ít
VD: day -> days, chair -> chairs …
b-Thêm “es” vào sau các danh từ tận cùng bằng : CH, S, SH, SS, X, Z, ZZ
VD: church -> churches , bench -> benches…
c-Một số danh từ tận cùng bằng “Y” : nếu trước đó là một phụ âm thì ta chuyển Y
thành “i” rồi thêm “es”
VD: baby -> babies, country -> contries , fly -> flies …

B. Content:
I. Articles: a/ an/ the: c¸i ,chiÕc,con
Mạo từ được đặt trước danh từ để nói về danh từ đó.
Có 2 loại mạo từ : mạo từ bất định và mạo từ xác định. Mạo từ bất định a/ an, mạo
từ xác định the.
- a / an: indefinite articles,go with singular Noun.And stand before the N
- an : Stands before 5 vowel symbols such as: u, e, o, a, i.
- a: stands before the consonant symbols.
- the: definite article
