THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE SATISFACTION OF TRAVELLER

This research uses structural equation modelling (SEM) to test the correlation between
service quality of the tourism destination and the satisfaction of the tourists who have visited Hoi
An ancient town. SERVQUAL scale (Parasuraman et al,

988) was used correctedly. The research
also uses the methods of Cronbach

Alpha, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor
analysis (CFA) and SEM The result shows that the tourist satisfaction has been affected by 2
factors: (1) Reliability; (2) Assurance which were ranked by the importance. The research also
raises some suggestions to the management and the tourist businesses at Hoi An in order to enhance
