A. Grammar.
1. Modal : could / would with Wish (Động từ khuyết thiếu với Wish)
- Ước muốn hiện tại: S + Wish + S + could + V(infi)
- Ước muốn ở tơng lai S + Wish + S + would + V (infi)
Ex: I wish I could leave right now.
I wish I would be here next week
2. Adverb clauses of result: Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả.
- So: vì vậy, nên. đứng giữa nối mệnh đề chỉ nguyên nhân (cause) và mệnh đề chỉ kết quả (result)
Ex: The shop was closed. I could not buy any milk.
--> The shop was closed, so I couldnt buy any milk.
- So ....... that: Qúa .... đến nỗi mà.
S + V/ be + so + adv / adj + that clause.
Ex: She is very tired. She cant go ==> She is so tired that she cant go
3. Preposition: Chỉ thời gian
- At + thời gian, thời điểm trong ngày : at 5 oclock, at noon, at night, at dinner time
ngày lễ : at Christmas, at Easter
mốc thời gian : at the end, at the moment, at times
những buổi chính trong ngày: in the morning, in the evening, ...
- In + tháng, năm, mùa, thế kỷ: in March, in 1990, in the summer, in the 20
th
century
những sự kiện sảy ra vào đầu / cuối một khoảng thời gian: in a day, in the night.

Những ngày tháng cụ thể: on August 8, on Monday...

4. Câu điều kiện của động từ khuyết thiếu: IF
- If + S + V (s, es), S + will / can / may / must ..+ V (infi)

6. Tag Question (Câu hỏi có đuôi - câu hỏi láy lại
Câu hỏi đuôi là câu hỏi ngắn dùng thêm vào sau một câu nói, lời nói - để hỏi thông tin hoặc để khẳng
định lại ý vừa hỏi trong câu lời nói. Nó luôn đứng sau dấu phẩy và tận cùng là dấu hỏi.
